Our 2014 Year in Review celebrates another very successful year for the Appalachian Mountains Joint Venture. Now an interactive Story Map depicts where in our region, and beyond, some of the many accomplishments of the AMJV partnership occurred in the past year.

Our partnership continued to evolve and strengthen over the course of the year. The success stories detailed on this interactive map – from receiving a Regional Conservation Partnership Program award of $8 million to enhance Cerulean Warbler habitat to restoring forests on degraded mined land; from mapping red spruce forests to research activities on wintering grounds of our priority birds – reflect the continued commitment of this regional partnership to bird conservation throughout the Appalachians.
